eco-takeout case study #1

a small cake, very nice
(carrot cake, with a delicate cream cheese icing)
in the usual clear plastic clam shell bubble
with snaps

it's very nice to have the cake
it's very nasty to have the bubble
and throw it away

1) i want cakes that come in something like an enamel tin
that's mine, and i wash it
or something i can put on the compost pile

2) and i want media that walks me through the process of making my own pastries
in such minute detail ... scheduling the process over a period of days, in thirty minute
steps, for example ... and analyzing what i should need or want over a period of months,
and what my friends and neighbors and family can use
that i can really do it!
