isn't the problem that all sorts of people are at risk of losing their homes? i'm not entirely sure i see the whole logic of stimulating demand to help those people. why not just help them get through, not, i guess, at in the same style the would enjoy if employed, but without being forced into poor housing? or, not "just," but can that be part of the plan?
what's happening is re-thinking, repositioning. can't that happen in a mild way?
